Title ☞ a very large pang, then warm tears on my cheeks

This series aims to capture the fears, anxieties and complexities of childhood which can follow us into adulthood.

I like to make use of bright, familiar colour palettes, drawn from cartoons I grew up watching, to contrast with the feelings of embarrassment, inadequacy and frustration that we feel when we can’t do something.
